PK Research Labs terms and conditions: research-use acknowledgment, eligibility, order acceptance, pricing errors, intellectual property, and liability limits.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this site and any order placed through it. PK Research Labs is a DBA (doing-business-as) of JP Trading Holdings LLC, which owns and operates this site under that trade name; all references to “PK Research Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in these Terms mean JP Trading Holdings LLC.
Research-Use-Only Acknowledgment
All products offered on this site are sold strictly for qualified laboratory and research use. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, diagnosis, treatment, or any household purpose. By placing an order, you affirmatively acknowledge and agree to the terms of our Research-Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract to create an account or place an order. By using this site, you represent that you meet these requirements and that you are purchasing for legitimate laboratory or research purposes, not for personal human or veterinary use.
Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
Order Acceptance
Your placement of an order is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including, without limitation, suspected fraud, unauthorized or illegal activity, product availability, pricing errors, or concerns about the intended use of the order. If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue a refund for the canceled portion. If we cancel an order after it has already shipped, we may require return of the shipped product, at our expense, as a condition of the refund.
Pricing and Errors
We attempt to display accurate pricing, but errors may occur. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical, technical, or pricing-source error, we reserve the right to cancel any order placed at the incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed, and to refund any payment collected for that order.
Product Information
We describe our products based on available manufacturer and testing information. We do not guarantee that product descriptions, documentation, or other content on this site are complete, current, or error-free. Documentation for a specific lot, where published, governs over general product page descriptions.
Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, product photography, and the PK Research Labs name, crown mark, and related brand elements (including King’s Collection, Queen’s Collection, Royal Reserve, Royal Partner Network, and Royal Archive) — is owned by or licensed to PK Research Labs and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to use this site or its products for any unlawful purpose, to misrepresent your identity or intended use, to attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or to use automated means to scrape or extract site content without our consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PK Research Labs and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or our products, including but not limited to any use of a product inconsistent with its research-use-only designation. Our total liability for any claim arising from your order will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold PK Research Labs harmless from any claim, loss, or damage, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of our products, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law, including any use of a product outside its stated research-use-only purpose.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “last updated” date at the top of this page.
